This past Friday was a day of mixed emotions as we said “Good – bye” to our Miss Shima.  We are so very happy and excited for her to graduate from Hope College and become a teacher.  We are so very sad to say good-bye to someone who was an important part of our class.

The students brought in lots of school supplies so Mrs. Quigley could put them into a nice “teacher” bag for Miss Shima to take to her first classroom.  They also made Miss Shima a farewell poster and book.  We had cake and punch to celebrate as well!  Miss Shima’s mom came into meet the class!  Miss Shima will be missed over the last few weeks of school and promises to email us when she can!  Here are a few more pictures to enjoy of her last day!
