Wow! End of Year Stuff Already!

It’s incredibly unbelievable that we are already winding down to the end of the year!  We have grown so much and come so far!  Some things to note:

5/16 & 17 –        Finish up M-Step!  These guys have done incredible work on this!

5/19                    Last week for library books (Turn in week of 5/22)

5/22                   Field Day Shirt $ Due (Optional! Girls wear gold/yellow, boys wear blue)

5/29                   Memorial Day

6/2                     Talent Show

6/6                     Field Day

6/9                     Last Day (1/2 day)

6/16                   Report Cards

Please send a grocery bag or two to school on the last week, so we can pack up, and get all of our treasures home!  And students who have been using exercise balls to sit on, may need pick up in order to get those home.

It has been a phenomenal year!  Thanks to all parents who have donated time and money to help us out this year.  This is what makes Hudsonville Public Schools one of the best!!

 

Only 2 Weeks Left!

Happy Memorial Day everyone! It’s hard to believe that the end of the year is already upon us! I will be so sad to see this year end! We have had an amazing year together and have learned so much.  I am very proud of these fourth graders.  TN_heart-blue-background-102

We have a few dates to note coming up!

This Friday, May 27th is technology day! Everyone may bring their favorite technology to school!  We will keep these devices locked up in between times, and students must have your permission to bring them to school.

Last spelling quiz this Friday as well!

June 2 is the Georgetown Talent Show!  Watch for the video coming out on our school blog of the show!

Field Day is June 7th, with a rain date of June 8th. We will be out on the football field all day that day so dress accordingly and bring GIANT water bottles and sunscreen!  Your student will also need a sack lunch that day.  Last day to order those through food service is this Friday, May 27th, if you don’t send a lunch from home.  Boys wear orange t-shirts that day, and girls wear pink.

Almost Done!!

Hi Everyone!

I hate this time of year, because I always get emotional and don’t want to say good-bye to my class and their parents.  It has been a WONDERFUL year with SPECIAL children!  We have learned and grown so much!  We just have a few more things to do on these last few days.

Wednesday:  If you think of it, send a grocery sack to school for your second grader to unload all of his/her “treasures” from their desk to bring home!  🙂  I do have some sacks at school in case you forget.

Thursday:  Slather on the sunscreen and bring a water bottle!  Girls, be sure not to wear flip-flops or sandals! We will be running, jumping and etc.  You will want good shoes for this!  Donut moms have been notified through email on what to send.  Thanks so much parents!  You rock!

Friday:  Last day of our together-ness as a class.  🙁  Students, you will always be special to me and have a special place in my heart!  Popsicle moms have been notified via email!  Thanks again!  School dismisses at 12:50.  Hope everyone has a fantastic summer!  Come and see me at the school library throughout July on Tuesdays!
